  • Master Books, “Applied Engineering”

    Applied Engineering: Study of God’s Design in Nature is a fascinating homeschool science curriculum. Junior high students will study biomimicry which reveals how man-made designs are inspired by God’s design in nature. This study uses captivating books, engaging worksheets, and hands-on activities to demonstrate the world’s need for God’s creative genius.

  • EIW “Essentials in Writing, Level 8”

    EIW Level 8 will teach students to apply parts of speech and different sentence structures as well as use them as tools for effective communication. They will address common problems in writing, including sentence errors, pronouns and antecedents, subject/verb agreement, homophones, unclear subjects, paraphrasing, and summarizing. They will practice crafting compositions including paragraphs, a narrative, a business letter, essays, and a research project. Students will explore expository, descriptive, persuasive, compare, and contrast writing.

    BOOK LIST - 7th and 8th grade students will have a required reading list to complete during the school year, which includes Feed the Dog by Brock Eastman, The Diary of Anne Frank by Anne Frank, The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis, and Out of My Mind by Sharon M. Draper. These books will be provided for each student and will be accompanied by assignments and meaningful discussions to deepen understanding and engagement.

    Additionally, students will work through a handwriting workbook designed for tweens and teens, looking to improve their cursive writing skills. With over 100 pages of guided practice and an easy-to-follow dot-to-dot method, this resource makes learning cursive both fun and accessible.

  • ¡Hola, amigos! Get ready for a fun and engaging Conversational Spanish class designed for homeschoolers of all ages! This energetic course focuses on real-life conversations, interactive activities, dynamic games, and songs to help students build confidence in speaking Spanish. From greetings and everyday phrases to cultural insights and role-playing, we make learning Spanish exciting, practical, and accessible for everyone.

  • The Art of Communication course is designed to help students build confidence in speaking while fostering creativity and critical thinking. Through mixed media projects, creative writing, and engaging presentations, students will develop their ability to communicate effectively in a supportive environment. A key focus of this course is helping students feel comfortable speaking in front of their peers, equipping them with the skills to express their ideas clearly and respectfully. The course integrates "The Fallacy Detective" to help students recognize faulty reasoning and construct logical, persuasive arguments.

     Above all, The Art of Communication prepares students to share their faith with confidence, understanding that we are called to make disciples (Matthew 28:19-20) and to always be ready to give a reason for our hope (1 Peter 3:15). By combining creativity, public speaking, and critical thinking, this course empowers students to boldly and effectively communicate their beliefs with clarity.
