Navigating the multitude of curriculum options for each age and grade level can be daunting. Recognizing the diversity among parents, students, and educational approaches, I realized that the best resource for making informed decisions was right at my fingertips: my friends, fellow homeschool moms. I gathered 19 moms for a curriculum brainstorming dinner at Spencer’s Place, which is a local coffee shop in our area. Together, we debated the pros and cons of various curriculums, drawing on our personal homeschooling experience, which is over 130 years. Equipped with valuable insights, we confidently curated an exceptional lineup for the 2024-2025 school year. Knowing that flexibility is one of the beauties of homeschooling, we're prepared to adapt and adjust to ensure our community needs are being met. I'm excited about the journey ahead and grateful for the support and expertise of my homeschooling community.
