Hello, my name is Gary. I grew up in central Indiana and I am still a “Hoosier” at heart. After graduating from college, I began teaching Industrial Arts in a Jr. high school in Anderson, Indiana. I discovered that I really enjoyed working with this age student. In the years that followed, I worked for three different General Motors plants serving in various positions – Production Machinist, Production Supervisor and Industrial Engineer.

Eventually, I moved with my wife and two daughters to California to work for an Indiana based company. They make and sell hospital products for the patient room. I was a field salesman for the next 30 years and traveled extensively.

After retirement, my family and I moved to Surprise, AZ where my wife and I joined my daughter in homeschooling our three granddaughters K-12. My primary contribution was teaching math and science. In my spare time, I enjoy sports, woodworking and landscaping. I am really looking forward to helping out with students in the Jr. high age bracket again.
