Hello! I am Shary Waller and I have been married to my husband, Ben for 30 years. We moved our family to AZ from Southern California in 2005 and have made it our home ever since. God blessed us with two beautiful daughters; Katie is 26 and married to Jared. Katie works as a nanny and lives in Tempe. Anna is 23 and married to Noah. Anna is about to start the nursing program at ASU and they live in Surprise. This means that Ben and I are empty nesters! We have 2 golden doodles and enjoy walking and off-roading with them.

We homeschooled our girls from Kindergarten through high school – a total of 15 years! It was the most rewarding endeavor of our lives and we are so proud of the women our daughters have become. I have been a piano teacher for 30 years, ages 5-adult. God truly provided me with the ability to do something I love and it has greatly helped our family financially through the years. I am also a photographer and often enjoy doing photo shoots.

I hold a degree in Early Childhood Education and taught preschool for 10 years before deciding to stay home once we had our first child. I have added the experience of raising children to my teaching and degree experience and I am even more convinced that children are absolutely amazing. I am excited to be with the Kindergarten class at Tandem this year. Growing relationships with the children in the class and watching them grow in confidence over the year is one of my favorite things!
